Dr. David Akinpelu, MD
Mrs. Angela R. Akinpelu, PA-C

Dear Prospective Patient,

Renowned subspecialists, including neurosurgeons, orthopedists, neurologists, osteopaths, chiropractors, physiatrists, and physical therapists, have developed an incredible, highly effective technological breakthrough for the treatment of neck and back pain—IDD therapy—Intervertebral Differential Dynamics.

We are pleased to announce that we experience very successful outcomes in the treatment of patients with diverse and complicated causes of neck and low back pain.  We are confidant that we can provide you, or those you know, relief from many causes of pain arising from the spine.  Treatment is non-surgical, non-invasive, does not require drugs, and there is no recovery period.  Most of all, the cost of therapy is affordable!

You do not have to live with pain anymore—it’s time to get your life BACK!  If you or someone you know has neck or back pain, we encourage you to schedule an initial screening and consultation.  For a limited time only, the $50 consultation fee will be credited towards your treatment.  As we have recently opened an Accokeek location, our schedule at this time is accommodating, however, appointments are required .  As you may be aware, IDD therapy has a waiting list of at least three months in most centers.

Sincerely,

David Akinpelu, MD and Angela Akinpelu, PA-C

What is IDD Therapy?

Intervertebral Differential Dynamics Therapy is a highly precise computer applied regimen which utilizes treatment forces to manipulate and mobilize specific spinal segments. When properly administrated, the treatment is able to achieve several objectives. First, unloading compressed spinal segments helps reduce built-up pressure on the affected disc. The nature of the cyclical graduating waveform also creates a spinal pumping effect inducing a vacuum within the disc and oxygen flow essential to disc health. Finally, a secondary modality called oscillation is delivered to the surrounding muscle tissue working to release and re-educate guarded spasmed muscles.  All this is performed while you rest comfortably in a soothing glow of light, listening to relaxing music.  A heated massage bed feature assures that you will complete your treatment session feeling refreshed.

Why Should I consider IDD Therapy?

If you are like most neck and back pain sufferers, you know the frustration of finding good treatment choices. Most options involve high risk, significant downtime, and not much more than a 50% likelihood of relief. Complications from surgery can be severe and pain killers make it difficult to carry on daily activities.

IDD Therapy® offers up to a 94% success rate in treating and effectively eliminating severe neck and back pain conditions. It is a gentle, comfortable therapy that painlessly works to restore normal spinal function.

The cost of IDD Therapy® is minimal when compared to surgery, epidural injections, or other invasive therapies. In fact, the total cost of a full regimen of IDD Therapy will usually be less than the co-pay you will have to pay out-of-pocket to have back surgery.  Insurance, financing, and payment options may be available to cover the cost.  Ask your IDD Therapy certified doctor.

What are the benefits of computer directed spinal-rehab therapy?

  2. No drugs are involved.
  3. No needles are involved.

  8. Financing for treatment is available under most circumstances.
  9. Treatments are not only safe and painless, but comfortable and relaxing as well.
  10. Non-strenuous work can continue during treatment.
